essay topic?

right now i think my essay is going to be comparing and contrasting the similaretes and differences of fortinbras and hamlet. on how hamlet is all thought and fortinbras is all action. hamelt is always contemplating everysingle little thing does, and seems to over think things, fortinbras simply takes action on whatever he feels at the moment. might b a control issue.

    Though brief, this seems like a very good approach to the play (in the future, try to use this forum to explore your ideas at greater length so that I might comment more helpfully on them). For now, before you begin writing, be sure to go back and track down all the references to Fortinbras. Make note of Hamlet's (and Shakespeare's?) admiration of his quick resolve. Then, track down the instances of Hamlet's equivocation. Having these actual lines at hand will be useful to you as you develop your discussion and discover your argument.
