HuCk

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is known to be the great american classic. The argument that the book is racist or not and if it should be tot in school or not is still happening now. This book is not racist and should be tot in school. The way that Huck views Jim changes though the story. This is a child that was around slavery and did not view black people as equals and for him to change his view is to change his whole life understanding of society. Huck would go to hell for Jim, that is when we see that Huck truly cares about Jim. this book should be tot in school because its good to see the times in a realistic way.

  1. Jack,

Though this post seems unduly sloppy (spelling helps communicate your ideas more clearly!), you nonetheless seem to be taking a good approach here in arguing that the book is a classic (though you'll have to establish and defend its literary merit) and that it is 'anti-racist' in that it provides a compelling portrayal, through Huck, of a young boy transcending his inherited racist attitudes (in a way that can supply a ready model for students reading the work).
